"For this track takes everything that is slacker The Lemonheads in texture, adds the most subtle of mid 2000s era Sonic Youth and twists tight, tiny, incidental jangled riffs within his lyrical approbation about the absolute virtues of excelling in doing exactly nothing. As always with this act, this is bedroom-pop / lo-fi at it’s very best.
B-side, A Chord, takes on a more closely compacted essence as the twinkling jangle is replaced with both twang and chinimg riffs, that tumble over each other amid cascading percussion. It has a sort of epic beauty, despite the 2 minute brevity.
